The Manager, IT Audit role within Western Digital’s Global Internal Audit organization supports assurance and advisory activities related to technology, cybersecurity, IT governance, and systems implementation. This role oversees audits across global operations and strengthens IT risk management practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audit Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audit engagements across infrastructure, applications, ITGCs, and cybersecurity.
- Conduct IT SOX control testing, system changes, configurations, and integrations.
- Identify control deficiencies and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to identify and assess technology and cyber risks.
- Evaluate IT governance and control maturity.
- Build strong partnerships with IT, Information Security, Finance, and other global functions.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations clearly.
- Provide direction and coaching to staff auditors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification preferred: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or equivalent.
- 6–10 years of progressive IT audit, IT risk, or technology assurance experience.
- Experience auditing ERP systems (Oracle), ITGCs, ITACs, IPE, and cybersecurity programs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, identity management, and data governance processes.
- Strong understanding of IT SOX control testing and external auditor coordination.
SKILLS
- Experience using AuditBoard or similar GRC/audit management tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong collaboration mindset.
