Job Details
Brightspeed is seeking a Manager of Network Operations to lead a team responsible for the activation, augmentation, maintenance, and optimization of Brightspeed’s broadband and Ethernet networks.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing broadband and Ethernet network operations
- Managing activation and augmentation activities
- Ensuring execution of network grooming, capacity upgrades, and decommissioning processes
- Providing monthly reports on team performance
- Developing KPIs and analytics reporting
- Conducting weekly team meetings and monthly one-on-one syncs
- Performing management of team including regular feedback, annual appraisals, and salary administration
- Balancing multiple priorities and initiate innovative solutions
- Providing technical leadership and support team members
- Driving process improvements and lead special projects
- Partnering with engineering, planning, and other teams
- Occasional travel required
What It Takes To Catch Our Eye:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in network operations, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge of broadband and Ethernet protocols
- Proven ability to manage complex projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with operational reporting tools and data analysis
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
- Familiarity with vendor platforms such as Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Calix, Adtran, or similar
- Project management experience in telecommunications
