Job Details
Brightspeed is seeking a Manager of Network Operations to lead a team responsible for the activation, augmentation, maintenance, and optimization of Brightspeed’s broadband and Ethernet networks.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing broadband and Ethernet network operations.
- Managing activation and augmentation activities.
- Ensuring efficient execution of network grooming, capacity upgrades, and decommissioning processes.
- Providing monthly performance reports.
- Developing KPIs and analytics reporting.
- Conducting team meetings and one-on-one sessions.
- Managing team performance and development.
- Providing technical leadership and support.
- Driving process improvements and leading special projects.
- Partnering with engineering and planning teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in network operations, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of broadband and Ethernet protocols.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with operational reporting tools and data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
- Familiarity with vendor platforms such as Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Calix, Adtran, or similar
- Project management experience in telecommunications
