Full-Time Medior Professional - Business Insights

As a Medior Professional - Insights & Data Analyst, you are end-to-end involved in new developments.

Depending on the project, you take on a combination of roles: from analyst, data expert, developer or dashboard designer to initiator of the project. You work closely with the substantive experts, financial analysts and Management. This way you can be sure that what you develop is an added value.

1. You determine the right internal and external sources and can convert this data based on the data requirements.
2. You make data-driven information clear and visualize it, you also make clear reports for this and discuss your insights.
3. You work closely with the Data Scientist & IT to identify improvement proposals. Your opinion and insights will be of great importance here.
4. You work at the office in Schelle or at home and work effectively with data together with the Business Excellence manager.

As a Data Analyst you collect, process and analyze the data and build clear insights and reports in Power BI and Qliksense.

• Thanks to your analyses, you help the business and our customers to recognize trends and relationships and make the right decisions.
• You identify information needs from the business where necessary and formalize business requirements, you define a scope together with the business, after which you will then provide analyses and insights.

Like no other, you understand the business model of the company, the market and how the various departments function, so that you generate correct insights with the data provided.

It is your job to clean, transform and convert data into data models and visualizations in Power BI or Qliksense.

You are also responsible for setting up customer projects and maintaining data in our reporting tools.

You will work closely with Data Specialist within Europe to share best practices and to leverage existing reportings.

You are ready to answer all data and technology related questions within our company.

Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent through relevant experience

• Your desire to work with data, to program and to think along in the longer term is especially important to us.
• You like to talk to internal customers about what they really need.
• You work smoothly with others to achieve goals and you take initiative
• You have an agile project approach and are action-oriented

Technical expertise:

• Education related to Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or comparable relevant experience
• Knowledge of QlikSense, Power BI
• Knowledge Of Google Big Query and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with SQL, Data Modelling, Data Visualization, Python, … is recognized as a big plus
• Permanent residency in Belgium
• Fluent in English
• Dutch native speaker, with good French knowledge.
