Full-Time Member Technical Services III

Member Technical Services III is a mid-level technical role with increased autonomy and expertise in network infrastructure and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently support client networks, focusing on firewall, switching, and connectivity issues with limited supervision.
• Plan, configure, and maintain network security components (firewall rules, VPNs, segmentation).
• Troubleshoot Windows workstation and server issues (performance, Active Directory, network problems).
• Assist with advanced troubleshooting of client-facing applications and endpoint issues.
• Provide informal technical guidance to junior team members.
• Create or contribute to technical documentation (as-built guides, configuration references).
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to identify issues, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
• Accurately maintain time entries, project statuses, and documentation in company systems.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in IT support or technical services.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts (routing, switching, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Strong hands-on experience managing firewall environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows workstations.
• Ability to function with moderate direction and independently manage assigned tasks.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to technical documentation and informal client briefings.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
• Certifications (CCNA, Fortinet NSE, VCP, JNCIA, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
