Full-Time Mid Fullstack Dev

Zipdev is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience.

This role is perfect for someone skilled in SQL, JavaScript, and Rails/Ruby, eager to contribute to a strategic initiative modernizing and streamlining our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Rails/Ruby and JavaScript.
• Understand, design, and write complex SQL queries across different SQL dialects to support data migration, system integration, and application functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to replace legacy EHR integration technologies with modern solutions (Rails, Golang).
• Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, reduce dependencies, and streamline operations.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both legacy and modern systems.
• Document processes, code, and system configurations.

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript for back-end development.
• Solid experience with Rails/Ruby frameworks.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, screen scraping, and data migration.
• Proficiency in SQL, working with multiple SQL dialects and writing complex queries.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Currently residing in Latin America.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare technology experience.
• Familiarity with legacy system modernization and migration projects.
• Proven track record of optimizing system performance and reducing operational costs.
