Full-Time MSP Engineer - Azure Government & Microsoft Office 365

• Security Administration: Administer Microsoft security and compliance solutions, managing Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel SIEM, Intune, and Purview.
• Threat Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and execute response playbooks.
• Alert Tuning & Noise Reduction: Tune detection rules using KQL to minimize false positives.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps, or API integrations.
• Documentation & Compliance Evidence: Maintain documentation to support CMMC Level 2 compliance. Use AI to assist in automating production and validation of documentation.
• Client Education & Collaboration: Educate clients on security best practices and present security updates in QBRs.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current on cybersecurity threats and recommend service enhancements.

• 3+ years in IT security or systems administration, preferably in an MSP/MSSP or enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies and incident response.
• Experience monitoring cloud environments (Azure, O365) is highly desired.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance ecosystem.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and familiarity with automation tools.

• Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and threat analysis techniques.
• Experience with CIS benchmarks, NIST 800-171/CMMC.
• Security certifications (SC-200, AZ-500, CompTIA CySA+) are advantageous.
