We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Data Lakehouse to lead a high-impact data transformation project in the automotive sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of a Data Lakehouse migration project. You will work closely with engineering, data, and business teams to ensure seamless data management and delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Defining and managing the Data Lakehouse product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable tasks.
- Overseeing the development and deployment of the Data Lakehouse using Snowflake and cloud technologies.
- Managing the product backlog, ensuring clear priorities and effective backlog grooming.
- Collaborating with data engineers, architects, and analysts to design and implement scalable data solutions.
- Defining clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for data-related features and initiatives.
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Working closely with stakeholders to identify data needs, business opportunities, and process improvements.
- Monitoring the migration from legacy data platforms to the Data Lakehouse architecture.
- Ensuring compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager, with a strong focus on data-related projects.
- Hands-on experience with Data Lakehouse, Data Warehousing, or Data Platforms (e.g., Snowflake, DBT, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Databricks, or Azure Synapse).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban) and backlog management (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools).
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams on data initiatives.
- Knowledge of data governance, data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize product roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken).
