Full-Time Network Architect

RRD is seeking a Network Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise network solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Network Engineering and operations teams.
• Architect and lead deployments for secure LAN/WAN environments using Cisco, Palo Alto, and Aruba technologies.
• Manage Netscaler environment and provide training.
• Anticipate and communicate technical issues.
• Work with data architecture and physical infrastructure teams to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with customers and business analysts to define architectures and identify problem areas.
• Provide direction and mentoring to the team.
• Document infrastructure and change control according to compliance standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in planning/architecture development and support.
• Expertise in:
• System analysis and design techniques
• Technical architecture
• Architectural risk assessments
• Functional and data analysis
• Networking protocols and solutions: TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, SDWAN, Palo Alto Firewalls, SolarWinds, Citrix NetScaler, DUO, Cisco and HPE/Aruba
• Cisco or Palo Alto certification preferred.

Able to consistently contribute effort, leadership, and creative thinking to solving complex and significant problems in a collaborative fashion. Able to communicate complex concepts, problems and solutions clearly and effectively to all levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to perform at the highest level of proficiency in utilizing tools and applications to complete assignments.
