Full-Time Network Configuration Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Network Configuration Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remote Configuration & Deployment: Configure and validate routers, switches, SD-WAN devices, firewalls, and media converters.
• Template Management & Automation: Maintain and enhance configuration templates; automate provisioning.
• Pre-Deployment Testing: Conduct functional and security testing.
• Inventory & System Integration: Load configuration data into inventory systems.
• Troubleshooting & RCA: Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Security & Compliance: Apply security policies to safeguard networks.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with technical support, service delivery, NOC, and engineering teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify and automate repetitive tasks.

Qualifications:

• Certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS), or Adtran (ACA/ACNP) preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting ISP/MSP customer equipment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network topologies.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud-managed networking, and electronic provisioning systems.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Full-time, remote position based on Pacific Time (Los Angeles). Occasional after-hours support may be required.
