Full-Time Network Core Planning Engineer

Brightspeed is seeking a Network Core Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team!

This position plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the performance of our Transport and Data networks.

As a Network Core Planning Engineer, you will:

• Manage network elements for both Transport and data networks, ensuring optimal performance.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate network capacity utilization to maintain a high level of service quality.
• Forecast and trend bandwidth growth, proactively identifying potential capacity issues.
• Develop and implement plans to augment capacity relief as needed to meet network demands.
• Work closely with engineers and other cross-functional teams to optimize network resources and ensure capacity planning aligns with future growth.
• Ensure accurate costing of facilities across multiple quoting systems
• Develop plans and designs for new projects, and modification of Core equipment and devices

What It Will Take To Catch Our Eye:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 6+ years of related experience
• 4+ years of related experience with a Master's Degree
