Full-Time Network Security Engineer - Fortinet

We are seeking a Network Security Operations Engineer expert with at least 5 years of experience in security, a strong background, and proficiency in managing Fortinet firewalls. Experience with WAF, IPS, and next-generation firewalls is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain Cloud WAFs to protect web applications.
• Migrate legacy firewalls to Fortinet and Checkpoint.
• Provide expertise on security incidents, audits, and high-priority escalations.
• Configure and maintain Intrusion Prevention Systems.
• Collaborate with the security team to enforce policies.
• Analyze logs to identify and respond to incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability reviews.
• Maintain documentation for security configurations.
• Provide technical support to team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of security experience, focusing on WAF, IPS, and Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Proficiency in managing Fortinet Firewalls.
• AWS cloud services experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working within the Agile framework is beneficial.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or AWS Certified Security) are beneficial.
• Experience troubleshooting different network environments.
