We are seeking a Network Security Operations Engineer Expert with 5+ years of experience in security. Strong background in Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Fortinet/Checkpoint firewalls is essential.
Experience with AWS and intermediate proficiency in Python is highly beneficial. You will report to the Global Manager of Network Edge Security.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain Cloud WAFs for web application protection.
- Migrate legacy firewalls to next-generation systems (Fortinet, Checkpoint).
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on security incidents, audits, and critical escalations.
- Configure and maintain Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
- Collaborate with the security team to enforce security policies and procedures.
- Analyze security logs to identify and respond to potential incidents.
- Conduct regular security assessments and review vulnerability scans.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Offer technical support and guidance to other team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of security experience, focusing on WAFs, IPS, and next-generation firewalls.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in managing Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience within the Agile framework is beneficial.
Certifications (preferred):
- CISSP, CEH, or AWS Certified Security certifications.
Other requirements:
- Experience troubleshooting different network environments.
