Full-Time Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales)

• Partner with Arista Account Managers to understand and solve customer challenges.
• Architect, design and propose Arista Data Center, Routing & Campus network and security solutions.
• Perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts and (initial) network deployments.
• Create design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support.
• Lead technical responses to RFP/RFQs.
• Lead customer feature requests from customer requirements to implementation to deployment.
• Provide (customer) feedback to Product Management and Development.
• Represent Arista at industry events and conferences.
• Keep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products and services.
• Author white papers, blogs and articles on technology and products.

• Technical degree required.
• Networking design and implementation experience.
• Practical experience with routing and switching, including relevant protocols.
• Recent experience in Data Center, Routing and/or Campus network architecture designs.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Deep knowledge of switching and routing protocols (e.g., Spanning Tree, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, Network Segmentation, etc).
• Recent hands-on CLI experience highly desired.
• Experience and/or interest in learning Netops / Devops using tools such as Python and Ansible.
• CCIE, JNCIE or Industry Equivalent certified.
