Full-Time Offensive Security Engineer

We are seeking an Offensive Security Engineer to join our growing team, reporting directly to the SOC Manager. You will assist in the development and execution of security testing on computer systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct formal testing of systems, software, and hardware security controls.
• Develop advanced, formal reports of security campaigns for leadership.
• Conduct security audits and legal simulations using hacking tools to access designated data within a timeframe.
• Generate tools for breaking into security systems.
• Detect and correct system weaknesses.
• Provide recommendations based on assessments and implement solutions for enhanced data security.
• Assist in the development of detection and preventative controls.
• Support the SOC during 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Mentor and identify training needs for junior analysts and engineers to improve SOC capabilities.
• Collaborate with other teams on security research and intelligence gathering.
• Utilize SIEM, SOAR, DLP, Cloud Posture Management, Endpoint Management, and EDR/XDR tools.
• Participate in organizational projects as required.
• Manage tickets and cases.
• Drive and monitor program metrics.
