Full-Time Operations Accounting Manager

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our Asset Owner Solutions team in London or Belfast.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting expertise for large onboarding clients, focusing on private markets (private equity, venture capital, real estate, hybrid structures).
• Assist the Head of Delivery on AOS product/service development and reporting solutions.
• Gather requirements, clarify accounting/reporting best practices with project managers and clients.
• Contribute to BAU reporting and efficiency projects.
• Support AOS technology activity (Tableau/Cosmos, accounting systems, databases).
• Manage data and implement change management.
• Test new solutions, develop proof of concepts, and manage risks.
• Document procedures for business continuity and operational resilience.
• Improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Design client-specific checklists/workflows to mitigate functional risks.
• Work with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, product managers).
• Report on financial performance, trends, and key performance metrics (e.g., IRRs, DPI, time-weighted returns).
• Utilize strong Excel skills for complex data management and calculations.
• Work with accounting systems (e.g., FIS Investran, Paxus, SAP) and business intelligence applications (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

Requirements:

• University Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Maths
• CPA or CIMA/ACCA qualified
• Financial services experience (fund administration/portfolio monitoring - desirable)
• Experience with large-scale projects and financial reporting solutions.
• Experience with standardised/customised reports for asset owners (investors, family offices).
• Funds/Hedge Fund experience (desirable)
• Strong Excel skills
• Accounting system exposure
• Business Intelligence application exposure
