OT Security Specialist / Engineer, Americas

The goal of Konecranes global Cybersecurity team is that our customers choose us as the cybersecure option for safe and secure material handling solutions – and at the same time we set the benchmark in ensuring that Konecranes itself is resilient and protected against the cybersecurity threats.
Responsibilities
- Conducting technical security assessments in the Konecranes operational environments including for example production and assembly sites, distribution centres and crane erection sites
- Support operational personnel with performing OT asset discovery scans, data gathering and asset inventory maintenance
- Participation into development of global requirements, processes, tools and guidelines for Konecranes OT security requirements for industrial control systems and networks
- Development of technical specifications for network level policies for OT assets in line with reference architecture and requirements
- Development of training material and conduct classroom trainings on OT/ICS security
- Development, testing and deployment of Konecranes global OT specific security services and tools for example for asset inventory, OT network security automation, remote access, secure data transfer, vulnerability scanning, patching, configuration management and security event and incident response
- Facilitation of Konecranes OT security champion community in North, Latin & South America by arranging events, trainings and connect with wider global OT security champion network
Experience
To meet the expectations, you should have experience from designing and implementing security controls and solutions for industrial control systems and networks.
You may be an experienced ICS/OT systems engineer or operator who has developed enthusiasm and skills with cybersecurity through work.
Or maybe you are an ICS/OT security auditor or consultant who wants to make a career move into an interesting global company where you can get clear own responsibility area and gain experience on multiple aspects of a global OT security program.

You feel at ease and excited about performing OT system and network configuration review or supporting the analysis of cybersecurity anomalies and incidents in OT networks.
As a person, you are systematic, detail-oriented, and have the ability to carry out tasks and projects to their completion.
You’re fluent in English (spoken and written). Spanish and/or Portuguese language skill is a plus.
OT/ICS specific network and security certifications are a nice addition.
Reporting Structure
This role reports to global Head of OT Security.
Location
The role is officially based in Springfield (OH), but you are expected to regularly travel across our production sites in Americas, and also occasionally to Europe.
