About Equip: Equip is a virtual eating disorder treatment program. They offer a dedicated care team (therapist, dietitian, physician, peer & family mentor) and are partnered with major insurance plans. Equip is a fast-growing health-tech startup.
About the role: The Patient Service Representative manages patient inquiries (phone, email, web). Responsibilities include providing program info, discussing insurance/finances, routing inquiries to specialists, documenting calls in a CRM. The ideal candidate is organized, multi-tasking, and comfortable in a dynamic environment with evolving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Answering inquiries and routing to appropriate departments.
- Collecting patient info and inputting data.
- Scheduling and reminding patients of appointments.
- Resolving patient requests, effectively handling complex issues while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of call center/customer service experience.
- Experience with high-volume inbound calls.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
Bonus: Experience in healthcare, health-tech startups, mental health, or remote work is a plus.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Physical Demands: 100% remote; stationary position; use of standard office equipment.
