Full-Time Penetration Tester

Full-time Penetration Tester to join a mature managed services Cyber team managing security posture of critical infrastructure and services under ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials+ certified environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting Adversary Emulation, including penetration tests and red-teaming exercises for healthcare enterprises.
• Demonstrating how adversaries exploit vulnerabilities to gain initial access and move laterally.
• Providing specific guidance to mitigate security gaps.
• Conducting Adversary Emulation on various enterprise environments (on-prem, cloud, web apps, non-web apps, IoT, mobile apps/devices, SCADA).

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in penetration testing for applications, IT infrastructure, cloud, IoT, SCADA, network devices, mobile platforms, hardware.
• Experience with whitebox, blackbox, and greybox penetration testing.
• Experience with red teaming exercises (reconnaissance, social engineering, breach simulations).
• Experience with automated and manual penetration tests.
• Experience with manual config reviews for network devices, servers, IoT devices, applications.
• In-depth understanding of general security principles and security technologies (firewalls, EDR, SIEM, TVM).
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, manage workload, and be proactive.
• Understanding of current security threats and common exploits.
• Open to knowledge sharing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn new technologies.
• Ability to keep abreast of security and technology developments.

Desirable:

• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CRTO, OSCE, OSWP).
• Scripting experience.

Requirements:

• Right to work in UK/Republic of Ireland.
• Own transportation (due to location).
• Security clearance requirements (BPSS).

Location: Remote within UK/Ireland, occasional travel to Dublin/Belfast.
