What You’ll DoWe are seeking a Platform Engineer to lead the deployment and operation of our product infrastructure in AWS. You will build, maintain, and enhance our AWS-based platform, focusing on scalability and security. This role involves:
- Implementing highly scalable and secure cloud-native platforms for company applications.
- Improving development and deployment processes for faster and reliable deployments.
- Creating tooling for collecting platform telemetry data for performance analysis.
- Developing a strong documentation culture using Confluence and documentation as code.
- Participating in project management using Jira and Agile methodologies.
- Designing and implementing Terraform modules and Crossplane compositions for efficient infrastructure provisioning.
- Driving automation for infrastructure-as-code, platform operations, and CI/CD.
- Evaluating new technologies for automating application hosting and infrastructure provisioning.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform engineering, or related roles.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Gitlab CI/CD
- 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Crossplane)
- 5+ years of experience with Configuration Management (Ansible)
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Knowledge of Secret Management and SSO (Okta, HashiCorp Vault)
Security Clearance: US persons only due to security clearance requirements.
Compensation: Base salary range: $183,000 - $215,000 annually. Equity package possible.
