The Opportunity: Flock needs a Policy Research Scientist to stay ahead in the policy landscape, owning the numbers. This role will help understand the impact of Flock on crime and clearance rates.
Responsibilities:
- Own current research projects (UTC/UT, NPI, UT-SA, San Diego).
- Drive data collection to understand customer success.
- Develop data-driven metrics.
- Identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, Social Science, or related quantitative field.
- Experience with data manipulation languages (R or Python).
- 4+ years experience in data analytics, consulting, or related quantitative role.
- Ability to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis (hypothesis testing, regressions).
- Experience creating effective data visualizations.
- Deriving insights from large datasets.
