Are you passionate about building innovative solutions that drive business impact? We're seeking a highly motivated Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic IT team.
Reporting to the CTO, you'll have significant visibility and opportunity to make a real difference across 27 nurseries in North America.
As our Power Platform Developer, you'll be the driving force behind developing and maintaining our cutting-edge data ecosystem, leveraging your expertise in Power BI and PowerApps.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and Nursery Operations leaders to understand data requirements and translate them into user-friendly applications and insightful reports.
Partner with KPMG during initial Power Apps development and knowledge transfer, before taking full ownership of the platform.
Timing for Start Date: End of March, Mid-April
Location: GTA/Toronto, Ontario, Canada
What You'll Do
- Data Architect & Integrator: Design and manage ETL processes, seamlessly integrating data sources into our core infrastructure.
- Power BI Maestro: Craft interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, transforming data into visualizations.
- PowerApps Visionary: Develop and maintain innovative PowerApps, streamlining business processes.
- Data Storyteller: Analyze data to generate actionable insights through compelling reports.
- Collaborative Partner: Work closely with KPMG and third-party vendors for integration.
- Consultative Leader: Consult with cross-functional teams on Power Systems needs and integration with UKG, ERP, CRM systems.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of Power Platform development experience
- Deep understanding of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
- Demonstrated experience in PowerApps development
- Experience with Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with SQL and database management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
Bonus Points
- Experience with Azure Data Services or other cloud-based solutions
- Knowledge of data visualization and user experience design
