Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer proficient in cloud data warehousing, data engineering, and AI/ML. You'll collaborate with sales to present cutting-edge solutions leveraging Databricks and Snowflake. You'll bridge business needs with technical solutions, helping customers with complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Support & Solution Design: Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs, design scalable cloud architectures using Databricks, Snowflake, and other cloud platforms. Present product demonstrations, POCs, and architectural walkthroughs. Develop technical presentations and workshops on data engineering best practices, cloud data architecture, and AI-driven analytics. Assist with RFP/RFI responses.
- AI & Data Engineering Expertise: Work with customers to understand data engineering workflows (pipelines, ETL, integration). Advise on optimal data pipeline design, automation, and AI/ML model integration for real-time/batch processing. Help clients identify AI/ML use cases and integrate machine learning models into data architecture.
- Customer Engagement & Support: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them leverage cloud technologies like Databricks and Snowflake. Develop strong customer relationships and provide ongoing guidance on optimizing data infrastructure and AI capabilities. Partner with customer success and support teams for smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams. Train and mentor internal sales teams. Stay updated on emerging trends in AI, cloud data platforms, and data engineering.
- Technical Enablement & Best Practices: Build and maintain technical documentation and collateral. Contribute to best practices, white papers, and technical case studies. Lead internal training sessions, webinars, and knowledge-sharing events for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of data engineering concepts.
- Proven experience with AI/ML technologies.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and advanced analytics pipelines.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, demonstrating technical expertise and business acumen.
- Experience in sales engineering or a similar technical sales role.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture, data engineering, AI/ML, or sales engineering.
