Full-Time Principal Architect

• As a Principal Architect at Palo Alto Networks, you will improve sales team productivity by creating and delivering business-relevant security conversations.
• Address cybersecurity issues using the full Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
• Provide insights on risk reduction, compliance, governance, and cost reduction through a prevention-first security approach.
• Increase sales productivity through compelling communication with VP and CXO contacts.
• Drive agendas with customers and sales teams, including workshops and architectural assessments.
• Maintain a deep understanding of competing solutions and position Palo Alto Networks effectively.
• Uncover new technology applications and create presentations illustrating value to customers and sales teams.
• Identify technological gaps between the Palo Alto Networks Cortex platform and competitors.
• Serve as a resource to Product Management for competitive insights and future market requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership, sales, CISO's, product management, marketing, and channel partners.

Impact:

• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product and service delivery focused on customer outcomes.
• Develop strategies for customers to implement Palo Alto Networks Cortex technologies.
• Establish advisory relationships with key contacts at strategic customers.
• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities to expand the Cortex install base.
• Provide feedback to improve Palo Alto Networks' value proposition.
• Maintain technical leadership in relevant technologies.
• Drive continued platform satisfaction and adoption.
• Deliver CXO-level Threat and Risk Management Briefings.
• Maintain an executive-level point of view on Cybersecurity trends.

Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of security operations, SIEM, attack surface management, and network/endpoint security architectures.
• Experience with SIEM, Log Management, XDR/EDR, and security investigation tools.
• Experience in a pre-sales or post-sales role.
• Experience establishing credibility with enterprise customers.
• Knowledge of identity management, public and private cloud architectures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent German and advanced English language skills.
