Job Details
As a Principal Architect, you will be a trusted advisor, influencing cybersecurity transformation strategies and driving successful security outcomes. This role enhances field sales team productivity by delivering business-relevant consulting engagements to strategic prospects and customers. You will lead teams to align sales campaigns with customer executive priorities.
Core Focus Areas:
Familiarity with security domains including Secure Access Service Edge/Zero Trust (SASE/ZT), Cloud Security, Security Operations, and Identity Security is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Transform client security strategies by advocating for Palo Alto Networks’ Solution Architectures.
- Provide insights on risk reduction, operational excellence, and cost management.
- Identify strategic transformation goals and priority outcomes.
- Conduct consulting engagements, including assessments and workshops.
Sales Productivity and Thought Leadership:
- Demonstrate increased sales productivity.
- Engage with senior leaders as a security expert.
- Collaborate with sales teams to deliver differentiated proposals.
Internal Partnership and Development:
- Be a resource to Product Management.
- Provide feedback to improve the value proposition.
- Maintain self-improvement across relevant technologies.
- Work with Sales and Solution Consulting leadership.
Your Experience:
10+ years of experience as an end customer, vendor, or consultant is required. BSCS or equivalent is required. Extensive knowledge of core security architectures is a must. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are needed. Expect to travel a minimum of 50%+.
