Full-Time Principal Consultant, Proactive Services

Principal Consultant in Unit 42 is a senior-level consulting position.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver threat-led and technology-driven cybersecurity consulting services.
• Lead and directly oversee engagements.
• Collaborate with BDM and CSM for new business pitches and proposal preparation.
• Manage client relationships.
• Provide expert-level SOC assessment and transformation services.
• Deliver findings to CxO and/or Board of Directors.
• Lead scoping and service overview conversations.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to drive operational and practice development.
• Develop strategies for service development, enablement, and product adoption.
• Cultivate relationships with key clientele.
• Increase awareness of Unit 42 capabilities.
• Provide on-demand expertise for client needs.
• Amplify Unit 42 presence through thought leadership (speaking engagements, articles, whitepapers, media exposure).

Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity consulting experience.
• 4+ years experience in at least 4 of the following areas: Security Operations, Application Security (including AI), Cloud Security, Red & Purple Teaming, Cybersecurity Risk Assessments, Cybersecurity Strategy & Transformations, Cyber Crisis Management, Zero Trust.
• Strong technical expertise and skills maintenance.
• Strong presentation, communication, and presentation skills (CxO/Board level).
• Exceptional client management skills.
• Public speaking experience; verifiable writing ability (technical reports, business communication, thought leadership).
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Expert knowledge of applicable laws, compliance regulations, and industry standards.
