Full-Time Principal Consultant, Proactive Services - SOC (Unit 42)

• As a Principal Consultant in Unit 42, you will work across proactive cyber security domains including Cloud Security, Security Operations, Cyber Risk Management, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Seeking an individual passionate about cyber security with a track record of continuous learning and the technical acumen to embrace data and innovative approaches.

Your Impact:

• Principal SOC Advisory: 6+ years in consulting with SOC, security engineering, SIEM administration, and incident management.
• Deep technical knowledge in SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, Next Gen Firewalls, and Threat Intelligence.
• Experience in security operations design, engineering, and analysis in complex environments.
• Ability to perform detailed assessments and provide recommendations for improving security operations.
• Experience in conducting threat hunting and compromise assessments.
• Relevant certifications: GDSA, GCIA, GMON, CISSP.
• Principal Cloud Security: 6+ years of cloud security advisement and risk assessments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of CASBs, Cloud Platforms, and dependencies (WAF, SSO, API Security).
• Former experience with cloud migrations.
• Secure software development practices, including SecDevOps.
• Principal Cyber Risk Management: Experience in cyber security threat and risk assessments.
• Technical proficiency in cyber risk management services.
• Knowledge of laws, compliance regulations, and industry standards.

Your Experience:

• 6+ years of cyber security consulting in at least two of the three domains.
• Experience managing a team of consultants.
• Ability to strive in a startup environment and perform travel as needed.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
