Full-Time Principal Data Analyst

Mission Lane is revolutionizing access to credit. We seek a Principal Data Analyst to drive best-in-class data usage via analytical engineering, business intelligence, and data analysis. This role is critical to driving value for customers through advanced data solutions.

Core Tech Stack: GCP / Snowflake / Alation / DBT / Python / SQL / Tableau / Monte Carlo

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with data engineering, product, and business teams to define, design, analyze, and report on key performance drivers.
• Develop and maintain scalable analytic data pipelines.
• Identify and solve business, technical, and data challenges.
• Partner with the Data organization to implement best practices for high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Provide data usage and interpretation advice to business users.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
• Expertise in SQL for building and analyzing datasets.
• Experience with analytical data modeling in dbt.
• Data management best practices for automated and trusted reporting.
• Summarize key insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical experience driving data integrity monitoring automation.
• Experience working with business teams to define and execute operational data processes.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Python for statistical analysis and workflow automation.
• 2+ years of experience with Tableau.
• Experience with credit bureau and/or financial services data.
• Experience managing data platforms (dbt, Tableau, Alation, Snowflake, etc.)
