Full-Time Principal Security Consultant

Principal Consultant role in Unit 42 is a senior-level consulting position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver threat-led and technology-driven cyber security consulting services.
• Lead and directly oversee a team of Consultants.
• Develop teams and work with sales and domain leaders.
• Work with BDM and CSM to deliver pitches and proposals.
• Manage client relationships.
• Develop and execute strategy for proactive services.
• Drive innovation in proactive offerings.
• Manage team productivity and utilization.
• Recruit and onboard talent.
• Support consultant growth and development.
• Foster a positive team culture.
• Identify and execute service development strategies.
• Cultivate client relationships and provide expertise.
• Amplify Unit 42's presence through thought leadership.
• Oversee consulting services, ensuring consistency, quality, and customer service.
• Provide proactive SOC assessment and transformation services.
• Work with BDM and CSM to generate pipeline.
• Lead scoping and services overview conversations with clients.
• Partner with executive team and service leaders.

Experience Required

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity consulting.
• 4+ years experience in at least 4 of the following areas:
• Security operations
• Application security (including AI)
• Cloud security
• Red & Purple teaming
• Cybersecurity risk assessments
• Cybersecurity strategy & transformations
• Cyber crisis management
• Zero Trust
• Experience leading teams (principal, senior, and mid-level analysts/consultants).
• Strong presentation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Client services mindset and client management skills.
• Public speaking and writing experience (technical reports, business comms).
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Professional industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• Expert knowledge of laws, compliance, privacy, security, and compliance.
