As a Principal Solutions Architect at Palo Alto Networks, you are responsible for improving the productivity of our sales teams by creating and delivering business-relevant security conversations to key prospects and customers.
You will be a thought leader, addressing Cybersecurity issues by leveraging the Palo Alto Networks portfolio to create differentiated business value.
Your role will involve compelling communication to gain trust from VP and CXO contacts, setting and driving agendas with customers and sales teams, and developing a deep understanding of competing solutions.
You will also need to uncover new technology applications, create presentations/deliverables, identify and document value gaps between the Cortex platform and competitors, and provide valuable insights to Product Management regarding product shortcomings and future market needs.
Collaboration will be crucial with senior leadership, sales, CISOs, sales engineering, product management, marketing, channel partners, and the consulting engineering team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Compelling communication to gain trust from C-suite contacts.
- Setting and driving agendas with customers/prospects and sales teams.
- Deep understanding of competing solutions.
- Positioning Palo Alto Networks approach effectively.
- Uncovering new technology applications and use cases.
- Creating presentations/deliverables to illustrate value.
- Identifying and documenting technology/business value gaps between Cortex and competitors.
- Providing feedback to Product Management regarding product shortcomings and future market requirements.
- Contributing to customer messaging that ties the Cortex portfolio with the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
- Leading and directing cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product/service delivery.
- Addressing customer security operations challenges.
- Engaging and establishing advisory relationships with key contacts.
- Engaging senior technical and business leaders to penetrate whitespace accounts.
- Working with sales teams on strategic opportunities.
- Providing business-relevant feedback to various departments for improvement.
- Maintaining technical leadership in relevant technologies (security, data center, cloud, networking, endpoint).
- Providing insights on risk reduction, compliance, governance, and cost reduction.
- Developing and maintaining executive-level relationships with XSIAM customers.
- Delivering CXO-level threat and risk management briefings.
- Developing executive-level POV on Cybersecurity trends.
Extensive knowledge and experience required in:
- Security operations, SIEM, attack surface management.
- Network and endpoint security architectures.
- SIEM, log management, XDR/EDR, security investigation tools.
- Ancillary security areas like identity management and cloud architectures.
