Full-Time Principal Threat Intelligence Consultant

Principal Consultant, Threat Intelligence Advisory is a senior-level consulting position within Unit 42 Proactive Services team. The individual will work alongside the Consulting Director of Threat Intelligence Advisory EMEA to provide threat intelligence insights to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Consulting Director in developing and delivering threat-informed services.
• Lead Threat Intelligence Advisory engagements (threat assessments, threat intelligence maturity assessments, threat-led offensive security testing).
• Provide intelligence input for risk management consulting engagements.
• Leverage internal Unit 42 datasets and OSINT to identify relevant threats.
• Help security teams operationalize threat intelligence.
• Amplify Unit 42 presence via thought leadership (speaking engagements, blog articles).

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in threat intelligence (consulting or in-house).
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience producing threat reports (strategic and tactical).
• Deep understanding of cybercriminal and state-sponsored groups.
• Familiarity with the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
• Passion for cyber threat intelligence.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in intelligence-led red team exercises.
• Knowledge of threat actor hunting tools and techniques.
• Experience in incident response, digital forensics, or security operations.
• Experience in risk management consulting.
• Additional language skills.
• Proficiency in scripting languages or AI prompt engineering.
• Cybersecurity industry certifications (CRTIA, CCTIM, GCTI).
