Full-Time Product Owner

Kitman Labs' Intelligence Platform (iP) is utilized by over 2000 teams across 50 leagues worldwide, including the NFL, Premier League, NWSL, and MLS.

The Role

We seek an experienced Product Owner to lead product delivery from conception to launch. This role requires strong strategic thinking, executing on product vision, and successful stakeholder management throughout the product lifecycle, with a focus on reporting, analytics, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the full product lifecycle for assigned products/features (ideation to release).
2. Prioritize features and achieve stakeholder consensus for product direction.
3. Drive efficient execution within cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, data scientists).
4. Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into actionable stories for high-quality product delivery.
5. Partner with UX/UI designers to optimize customer experience and iterate on user-centric requirements.
6. Develop and manage product backlogs, aligning with evolving priorities.
7. Define and monitor KPIs for product success, seeking continuous optimization.
8. Support marketing efforts for effective go-to-market strategies.
9. Communicate progress, challenges, and decisions to stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in a Product Manager/Product Owner role, focused on software/technology-driven product delivery.
• Strong understanding of data architectures, pipelines, and querying methods (e.g., SQL).
• Experience working with APIs, data source integration, and reporting/visualization tools.
• Understanding of front-end technologies relevant to data visualization.
• Understanding of the full product development lifecycle.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align diverse stakeholders.
• Experience creating user stories, managing backlogs, and ensuring clear requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to define, measure, and communicate product performance.
• Ability to articulate product strategies and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with design teams for user-focused solutions.
• Effective collaboration with marketing teams for go-to-market plans.
• Strong communication & writing skills.
