Project Manager
Temporary contract - initially 6 months, but most probably longer
As Project Manager, your role will be to implement the program in compliance with deadlines, quality and costs.
The program is a mix of engineering, building services, recruitment and financial.
DUTIES
- Track, schedule, monitor, analyse and occasionally adjust or correct parts of the program through consultation with stakeholders
- Coordinate between program workstreams. This includes fleet built, plant adaptations, commercial, finance.
- Support the workstream leaders.
- Establish and monitor toll gates
- Establish and monitor finances and budgets through stakeholder consultation
- Ensure that the Program is delivered on time, to time, quality and cost
- Supervise and coordinate third parties and suppliers
- Ensure that the supply chain and supporting services are in place and ready for service delivery by completion of program milestones through collaboration with the dedicated workstream leaders
- Ensure appropriate and best practice is in place for the full life cycle of the programme
- Establish and monitor KPIs and reporting
- Report to the programme governors and programme stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and legislative requirements
- Be responsible for the proper execution of the entire investment programme
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and opportunities
In this role, you will be working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team, Service Centers, Finance, HR, and Sales.
Externally, you will build working relationships with local authorities and suppliers.
- Degree in engineering or science OR time served
- Project Management qualification
- Excellent IT tools - especially Google suite savvy
- Strong experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Significant experience in the management of project budgets and expenditure
- Proven experience of working with and managing third parties and suppliers, including contracting and performance maintenance
- Fluent English
- French would be beneficial but not essential
- Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Networking (internal and external)
- Ability to partner with and influence senior management
