The Public Cloud Business Development Associate will pursue non-linear growth for Palo Alto Networks (PANW) through closer and smarter collaboration with Microsoft Azure.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how PANW partners with Microsoft Azure to enable customer growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in driving joint business with Azure.
- Enable teams on solving customer needs with integrations.
- Drive sales pipeline through engagement and marketing events.
- Support deal execution.
- Be a central conduit for engagement between PANW sales and Microsoft Azure account teams.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development.
- Interact with ecosystem partners for sell-with activities.
- Manage joint sell-with and go-to-market activities with Microsoft.
- Enable PANW sales teams to work effectively with Microsoft sales teams.
- Understand and articulate Microsoft's strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key personnel at Microsoft.
- Attend and participate in Microsoft events and seminars.
- Facilitate co-selling opportunities, account mapping, and other sales engagements.
- Provide escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of work experience (open to more).
- Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Public Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI) preferred.
- Sales or Business Development experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive attitude and motivation.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Understanding of technical concepts and enthusiasm for technology.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
- Experience in working both virtually and in-person.
