Senior QA Tester (Automotive)

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute functional and non-functional tests for automotive software.
• Analyze defects, and provide detailed bug reports.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and product owners.
• Participate in test strategy and test design discussions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of software testing experience, specifically in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems architecture and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.).
• Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing of automotive software systems.
• Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr).
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Appium, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 (functional safety) is a plus.
• Fluent English.
