Keeper Security is hiring a Test Automation Engineer, where you'll design and develop robust automation scripts, enhance automated test suites, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless functionality, performance, and security across web applications.
This is a 100% remote position!
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, maintainable automation scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Create and maintain end-to-end test cases using Playwright and other suitable tools to meet test objectives
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Develop test tools based on Keeper developer tools and SDKs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities across the SDLC
- Identify relevant test integration points that relate to operational scalability
- Utilize TestRail, Jira, and Confluence to manage test cases, tickets, and documentation
- Analyze test results, file bug reports, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Monitor and maintain the health of automated test suites across multiple environments
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and frameworks to enhance the test automation effort
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with automated API testing
- 5+ years of experience with automated web-based testing
- Experience with performance and load testing methodologies
- Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar)
- Development experience in JavaScript, Java, .NET, Python/Perl, or Go
- Experience with one or more modern test automation frameworks
- Experience using SDKs to develop automated processes
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and modern web technologies
- Proficient understanding of JSON, XML, and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Knowledge:
- Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
