Full-Time QA Automation Engineer

Your Role:

As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll join our remote team to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, working closely with developers and DevOps.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites (UI, API, performance).
• Collaborate with developers for comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Implement QA best practices, including CI/CD integration.
• Support and improve automation for various testing types (regression, functional, non-functional, security).
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure scalable and efficient automation, identifying optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to performance, stress, and load testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Stay updated on test automation and security testing trends.

Your Skills/Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and relevant test automation frameworks (Playwright, TestCafe, Cypress, Webdriver.io, Mocha, Chai, Jest).
• Solid understanding of API and web services testing (REST, GraphQL, Postman).
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (Lighthouse, JMeter, K6).
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Understanding of version control workflows (Git).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, providing meaningful insights.
• Experience with security testing methodologies (vulnerability scanning, penetration testing).
• Understanding of common security threats (XSS, SQL injection, CSRF).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for software quality, automation, and security.
