Your Role:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll join our remote team to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, working closely with developers and DevOps.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites (UI, API, performance).
- Collaborate with developers for comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Implement QA best practices, including CI/CD integration.
- Support and improve automation for various testing types (regression, functional, non-functional, security).
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure scalable and efficient automation, identifying optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to performance, stress, and load testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Stay updated on test automation and security testing trends.
Your Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and relevant test automation frameworks (Playwright, TestCafe, Cypress, Webdriver.io, Mocha, Chai, Jest).
- Solid understanding of API and web services testing (REST, GraphQL, Postman).
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (Lighthouse, JMeter, K6).
- Hands-on experience with security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
- Understanding of version control workflows (Git).
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, providing meaningful insights.
- Experience with security testing methodologies (vulnerability scanning, penetration testing).
- Understanding of common security threats (XSS, SQL injection, CSRF).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for software quality, automation, and security.
