Full-Time QA Director

Cority is a global enterprise EHS software provider.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead QA team and guide engineering teams to ensure quality standards align with customer expectations.
• Oversee software testing strategy and execution.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Drive clear processes and metrics across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with other departments and leadership.

Major Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and direct QA and quality improvement initiatives.
• Create vision, mission, and strategy for the QA team.
• Work with product and engineering leaders to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Standardize testing processes in the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Monitor QA systems and advise executive team on performance.
• Guide QA team members on test cases, plans, and reporting.
• Improve test automation to optimize release efficiency.

Qualifications and Characteristics:

• University degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of technical experience and 5+ years of management experience in QA for Enterprise SaaS.
• Proven leadership with knowledge of QA methodologies, software test practices, and test automation.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong relationship-building skills with other departments.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
• Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
