Full-Time QA Engineer

• As an Agile Quality Assurance person, you will be doing the system study, prepare test cases and execute tests with automated test tools.
• Criticize the developments and report bugs to the development team.
• Audit browser and device apps for quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications using various testing techniques including automation, manual, regression, and performance testing.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and customer support.
3. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, and other open-source automation tools.
4. Design and maintain test environments.
5. Report and track software defects.
6. Analyse and communicate test results and test progress to stakeholders.
7. Continuously improve the testing process.
8. Participate in the Agile development process.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, and other open-source automation tools.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby is a plus.
