The Job

Koombea seeks a QA Engineer to ensure software quality via manual and automation testing. Identify and report bugs, suggest improvements, and validate features for smooth go-live.

Your Role:

• Review requirements, estimate tasks, and ensure testing aligns with project goals.
• Conduct functional, end-to-end, and regression testing to find defects.
• Create QA reports detailing results, risks, and concerns.
• Assist teams in identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Support API and web service testing.
• Maintain quality standards, and approve releases to production throughout the SDLC.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of functional and automation testing experience with end-to-end project experience.
• Proficiency in mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium).
• Familiarity with tools: Android Studio, Xcode, Selenium, Postman, GitHub, PostgreSQL (desirable), Figma.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP requests.
• Performance testing (e.g., JMeter) - Desirable.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall and defect management tools.
• Automation expertise is mandatory.
• Advanced English Level C1.
• ISTQB (Nice-to-have)
