Full-Time QA Engineer III

About the role:As a QA Engineer III, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by applying your in-depth understanding of testing principles and practices.

Seniority Level Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.
2. Test Execution: Execute test cases using manual and automated techniques.
3. Test Automation: Lead the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
4. Attention to Detail: Identify minor issues.
5. Root Cause Analysis: Analyze test results to identify trends.
6. Regression Testing: Own and architect the regression testing process.
7. Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects.
8. Communication Skills: Effectively report issues and collaborate with developers.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Documentation: Generate detailed test result reports.
2. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance QA processes.
3. Performance and Security Testing: Conduct performance testing and collaborate with security specialists.
4. Test Environment Management: Manage and maintain test environments.
5. Mentoring and Leadership: Mentor junior QA engineers.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• SDLC/Agile: Proven experience in software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Programming: Experience with and understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) for test automation.
• Automation Tools: Familiarity with Selenium (JavaScript) and Playwright for automation frameworks
• Testing Types: Strong background in Web Application and API Testing, Performance testing (JMeter, Lighthouse), Version control experience with Git, UI/UX testing and UX principles.
• Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Team Leadership: Experience in leading a team.
