QA Engineer for Supply Chain

Mondial Relay is looking for a QA Engineer to supervise the testing scope of two teams responsible for the development and maintenance of software involved in the collection and integration of tracking events, updates, and the status manifest of packages, as well as all logistics applications used to sort, track, and ship packages across 50 warehouses and hubs in all Mondial Relay markets (France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg).

Technical Stack: Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, Vue.js, Android, GCP, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Elastic, Redis, GitLab CI, Datadog, Dynatrace

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up automation frameworks.
• Define a test strategy for a wide range of applications covering different countries in the supply chain domain.
• Be responsible for automating component, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management teams.
• Design and execute manual and automated end-to-end tests for front-end and back-end interfaces, covering the entire supply chain flow.
• Generate and manage test data to facilitate software testing.
• Track and report defects, providing clear and actionable information to our development team.
• Prepare detailed test execution reports to share successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience in test automation using Java and CI integration.
• Mastering of API and GUI test automation, familiarity with Postman/other REST clients.
• Experience in distributed system testing based on message queue communication (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Practical knowledge of the bug lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elastic) databases.
• Familiarity with BDD-based test automation in Java (Cucumber).
• Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
• Docker and Linux/Unix experience is a plus.
• Mobile application testing experience is a plus.
