Full-Time QA Functional Engineer

• 5+ years experience as a QA analyst
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with Automation Testing tools and frameworks (a plus)
• Experience with tools for mobile-based applications (device farms, emulators, simulators, physical devices for iOS and Android)
• Working knowledge in performance testing (a plus)
• English proficiency is required due to US-based clients

Responsibilities:

• Provide service to assigned clients in designing, implementing, and executing test cases
• Develop and review test policies and test strategies
• Plan test activities based on objectives and risks
• Coordinate test plans with project managers, development managers, agile teams, etc.
• Initiate, design, implement, and execute tests; monitor progress, results, and exit criteria
• Prepare and deliver test progress and summary reports
• Introduce metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating quality
• Report findings, defects, and ambiguities; aid in prioritization and criticality definition
• Support tool selection and implementation for test process
• Promote and advocate for testers and the test profession
• Coach the team to enhance technical skills
