The QA Lead is responsible for leading the quality assurance team in testing and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of software applications. This role involves designing test strategies, managing QA resources, implementing best practices, and working closely with development and product teams to maintain high-quality standards.

The What and How:
- Bring your fresh, hands-on skills and approach to leading a QA function moving through considerable change.
- Management of multiple stakeholders; QA engineers are distributed across seven different teams across the business.
- Support and lead the QA Process across the business, develop and drive the adoption of strategies and best practice.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to integrate quality at all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes within the team.
- Monitor software development processes to ensure adherence to company and industry quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Lead people management initiatives for the team through honest and constructive performance and development conversations, and regular team meetings.
- Role model and ensure your team's work and behaviors are consistently aligned to our organizational goals and principles.
