Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Lead Software Engineer to oversee and guide our QA processes. This role manages QA strategies, leads a team of QA engineers, and ensures high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
- Define and implement QA best practices and metrics.
- Collaborate with development, product, and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Plan and execute various types of testing (functional, performance, regression, usability, automation).
- Design and improve automation frameworks for continuous testing.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards across the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Analyze testing outcomes to improve product quality.
- Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Prepare reports on testing activities, results, and quality metrics.
- Communicate risks and status updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Familiarity with bug tracking (e.g., JIRA) and test case management (e.g., TestRail).
- Knowledge of performance testing (e.g., JMeter) and API testing (e.g., Postman) is a plus.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead/managerial capacity.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
