Full-Time QA Manager

As the QA Manager, you will lead the QA team, define and implement quality assurance strategies, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams. You will be responsible for ensuring our software meets both functional and performance standards and that releases are reliable and bug-free.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, including manual testers and automation specialists.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, best practices, and testing frameworks.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
4. Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts across multiple projects and platforms.
5. Establish and track quality metrics and KPIs; report regularly on the QA health of projects.
6. Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
7. Manage defect tracking and ensure timely resolution of issues.
8. Partner with DevOps to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.

What You Bring to Bitwarden:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
• Proven ability to context switch effectively between feature teams and adapt quickly to changing project needs.
• Collaborative and adaptable mindset
• Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills
• Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and for better internet security
• Excellent problem-solving skills – you might not know all the answers, but you know how to find and communicate the solution
