Job Details
We are looking for an experienced QA Performance Engineer responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring quality assurance strategies and procedures to give our clients the best service to ensure the non-functional requirements for performance are met.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance and load tests using tools such as Locust.io or Artillery.io
- Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations to development teams
- Develop scripts and scenarios simulating realistic user loads and workflows
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Prepare comprehensive test reports highlighting findings, risks, and performance trends
- Contribute to overall test automation strategies, supporting end-to-end automation using Cypress.io, Playwright.dev, or similar frameworks
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of performance-related issues
- Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and reusable components
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in performance testing
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Locust.io, Artillery.io, or similar
- Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, load modeling, and capacity planning
- Experience with e2e automation tools, preferably Cypress.io and/or Playwright.dev
- Good knowledge of web application architecture, APIs, and common performance bottlenecks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly document test plans, results, and recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for custom test scripting
- Experience in Agile environments
Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM), ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).
