QAD is seeking Associate QA Engineers, QA Engineers and Sr QA Engineers who will perform professional Quality Assurance functions. Non-complex testing activities are performed independently.
Maintain automated functional tests and integration tests. You will analyze results, maintain communication with functional teams, and write/update automated test scripts.
- Execute manual and/or automated tests, ensuring test completion.
- Document, retest, and track defects until resolved.
- Define, produce, maintain, and report test metrics.
- Regularly monitor test results, analyze issues identified during tests, and identify the source of defects (functional, data, or test case).
- Maintain test scripts and test cases per quality standards and procedures.
- Become familiar with the functional aspects of the application.
- Create/update documentation as required and maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain proficiency in new testing tools, enabling patch testing through formal and informal training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Quality Assurance.
- 2-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing.
- Experience with software testing/test automation, including tools like Selenium or Jmeter.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies (automation, functional, integration, system testing).
- Knowledge of Python or similar scripting language, preferably in a test automation context.
- ERP system knowledge is an advantage (but not essential).
- API testing experience is an advantage (but not essential).
- Experience with a test management tool is an advantage (but not essential).
- Self-starter, managing workload in an agile environment.
- Strong communication skills, collaborating with Quality Group colleagues, other QAD QAs, developers, business analysts, and project managers for clear requirements understanding.
- Passion for learning new technologies and systems with high ownership.
- Flexible and team-oriented, with good interpersonal skills, ability to balance multiple tasks, and adapt approaches.
