We are seeking a passionate Junior or Mid-Level QA Tester from LATIN AMERICA, with a strong foundation in software and game testing, who is excited about working in the mobile gaming industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience with testing mobile games, live operations (LiveOps), and the ability to read and interpret debug logs. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Testrail, and Xcode is essential, and bonus points for experience with Unity or other game engines, as well as AI tools and scripting languages. This role offers a chance to develop further as part of a dynamic QA team focused on quality, user experience, and the delivery of engaging mobile games.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and report bugs using Jira and Testrail.
- Collaborate with the QA team and developers to ensure comprehensive coverage of test plans.
- Test mobile games, focusing on functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Support live operations (LiveOps) by performing real-time testing and verification of updates and patches.
- Read and interpret debug logs to identify and report issues to developers.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and LiveOps teams, to ensure product quality and timely releases.
- Assist with regression testing to ensure previously fixed bugs remain resolved.
- Contribute to documentation efforts by updating test cases and providing feedback to improve test coverage.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of QA experience, ideally within mobile games testing.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Testrail, Xcode, and version control systems (Git/SVN/Perforce).
- Familiarity with testing branching dialogue in genres like visual novels or RPGs.
- Experience reading and interpreting debug logs.
- Basic understanding of scripts or high-level programming languages (coding experience not required, but familiarity is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience using Terminal and other command-line tools.
- Bonus points for experience with Unity, Leanplum, and other game engines.
- Knowledge of AI tools and how they integrate into game testing is a plus.
Preferred Skills (Not required but nice to have):
- Experience with Unity or other game engines.
- Familiarity with LiveOps processes and workflows.
- Prior experience with Leanplum or similar user engagement platforms.
- Familiarity with AI testing tools and technologies.
