Full-Time QA Tester - OTC

Open Telekom Cloud is a public cloud standard product, based on open-source software and DevSecOps principles. We deliver a secure, stable and innovative platform, working with platform partners and other OpenStack ecosystem members. We seek professionals with enthusiasm for cloud technology who embrace challenges in operating a hyper-scale public cloud.

Your Tasks (as QA Tester):

• Develop, execute, and monitor automated tests.
• Detect errors in interfaces and functionality.
• Consistently automate using common automation frameworks.
• Review and correct product documentation.
• Solve complex problems in hyper-scaler cloud backend operation.
• Work collaboratively in a specialist team.

Your Profile:

• Completed technical, engineering or scientific studies, or comparable training.
• 5-7 years IT experience, focused on modern cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience with test methods, automation, and tools.
• Practical Linux knowledge.
• Strong customer focus.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.
• Ability to assess technical solutions and find creative approaches.
• OpenStack and open-source programming experience a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Location & Remote Work:

This role is based in the European Union to meet data security/privacy requirements. Remote work only possible within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.
